Virus Scanning

As an added layer of protection, we scan all Attachments that are uploaded to Top Echelon Recruiting Software to check for both viruses and malware. This helps ensure the integrity of not only your database but all data system-wide.

If an uploaded file is deemed unacceptable, a Notification will be sent to the user who uploaded this attachment. This file will not be added and any associated record will not be created. By default, you will receive a bell and email notification for each instance of an unacceptable file.


To manage your virus scan notifications settings:

  • Expand the Sidebar in the top right corner of the software and click on the Settings icon 
  • Click to expand the My Account section and then select Manage Notifications

  • Locate Virus Scan Failed under the System Requests header
  • Click to toggle off the type(s) of virus scan notifications you no longer want to receive
