Using the 'Do Not Call' and 'Do Not Text' Options

Do Not Call and Do Not Text options are present on all People and Company records that contain a phone number. These functions allow you to disable a number so that you are prevented from using click-to-dial software and/or sending text messages out of Top Echelon Software. If there are multiple phone numbers on a record, each number will have its own do-not-contact settings.

Marking a Number as 'Do Not Call' and/or 'Do Not Text'

  • Navigate to the corresponding Person or Company Datasheet
  • Locate the Contact Information card and click the pencil icon to inline edit the phone number

  • Click the box to the left of the Do Not Call and/or Do Not Text designations underneath the phone number that you wish to mark

  • Click the Save button when complete

You’ll then see one or both (Do Not Call) or (Do Not Text) messages displayed next to the phone number on the record.
