Customize Your Pipeline Stages

Stages are a visual tool in the Pipeline that allow you to quickly see where your candidates stand within your placement process. These can be customized to reflect your firm’s workflow.

To customize your firm’s Pipeline stages:

  • Expand the Sidebar in the top right corner of the software and click on the Settings icon
  • Click to expand the My Agency section and then select Manage Pipeline Stages

  • Add/Edit/Delete Pipeline stages as needed and rearrange the list so that it matches your firm’s placement process
  • Please note:
    • The first stage in the Pipeline will always be the Inbox stage as it corresponds to your Pipeline’s Inbox view
    • The last stage in the Pipeline will always be the Placement stage as it corresponds with Top Echelon Recruiting Software’s Placement Forms
      • These are the only two stages that cannot be edited/deleted

To add a new stage:

  • (1) Click the Add Stage button at the bottom of the page
  • (2) Enter your new stage name in the next blank text box and (3) click the Save button

To edit an existing stage:

  • Click in the text box of the stage you wish to edit
  • Make any necessary edits to the current text
  • Click the Save button when complete

To reorder stages:

  • Click and hold the icon to the left of a stage name to drag it to the appropriate place on the list
  • Continue to take this same step with any other stages you wish to reorder and then click the Save button when complete

To delete a stage:

  • Click the trash icon  to the right of the stage you wish to delete
  • If you have existing candidates in your database under that corresponding stage, you will need to decide which stage you wish to transfer those to
  • To move them to a different stage, select the new stage from the drop-down and then click the Save button
    • Please note: this is a permanent action and cannot be undone

  • If you change your mind and no longer wish to delete that stage, click the Nevermind… link
