Organization Chart

This feature is only available on the Professional Tier

The Organization Chart provides a visual representation of your organization's structure. All currently active users are displayed in the chart above any direct reports they may have. While the Organization Chart itself is always visible to anyone with user management permissions, the Main Contact has the option to use the chart's structure to limit the reporting and Planner visible to each user.


To access your agency's Organization Chart:

  • Expand the Sidebar in the top right corner of the software and click on the Settings icon 
  • Click to expand the My Agency section and then select Organization Chart

  • You can click and drag, as well as zoom in and out, to view sections of your chart in greater detail


Direct Reports

By default, all users will report to the agency's Main Contact. The chart is built by editing the Reports To field in user profiles. Any user with user management permissions can make these changes.

  • Expand the Sidebar in the top right corner of the software and click on the Settings icon 
  • Click to expand the My Agency section and then select Manage Users

  • All users on the account will populate on the left side of the Manage Users page
  • Click on the edit icon to the right of the person you wish to make a Direct Report

  • Click the pencil icon in the Reports To field

  • Select the user you wish to set this user to report to
  • Make sure to click Save in the bottom right corner to finalize this change

Filtering Report and/or the Planner by Direct Reports

The Organization Chart can be used to limit the reporting and aggregate Planner data that users are able to see. By default, this filtering is disabled and only the Main Contact has the ability to view and edit these settings.

When viewing the Organizational Chart, changing Apply to Reports to Enabled means that users will only be able to filter and run reports on themselves, and any user directly below them in the organizational tree.

Changing Apply to Planner to Enabled means that users will only be able to filter and view Planner data for themselves, and any user directly below them in the organizational tree.
