Organization Chart
This feature is only available on the Professional Tier
The Organization Chart provides a visual representation of your organization's structure. All currently active users are displayed in the chart above any direct reports they may have. While the Organization Chart itself is always visible to all users, the Main Contact has the option to use the chart's structure to limit the reporting and activity data visible to each user.
Accessing the Organization Chart
- Expand the Sidebar in the top right corner of the software and click on the Settings icon
- Click to expand the My Agency section and then select Organization Chart
You can click and drag as well as zoom in and out to view sections of your chart in greater detail
Direct Reports
By default, all users will report to the Main Contact. The chart is built by editing the "Reports To" field in users' profiles. Any user with user management permissions can make these changes.
- Expand the Sidebar in the top right corner of the software and click on the Settings icon
- Click to expand the My Agency section and then select Manage Users
- All users on the account will populate on the left side of the Manage Users page
- Click on the edit icon to the right of the person you wish to make a Direct Report
- Click the pencil icon in the Reports To field
- Select the user you wish to set this user to report to
- Make sure to click Save in the bottom left corner to finalize this change
Filtering by Direct Reports
The Organization Chart can be used to limit the reporting and activity data that users are able to see. By default, this filtering is disabled. Only the Main Contact is able to change these settings.
When viewing the Organizational Chart, changing Apply to Reports to 'Enabled' means that users will only be able to filter reports for themselves or any users who report to them.
Changing Apply to Planner to 'Enabled' means that see activities on the planner for themselves or any users who report to them.
