(BETA) Importing Previous Email Correspondence

This feature is only available on the Professional Tier

With Inbound Email Sync, you can connect your Microsoft or Google Workspace account to automatically log incoming emails in TE Recruit. This keeps your communication history up to date without the need for manual logging or forwarding messages to the log address.

Once integrated, all new incoming emails will be logged to TE Recruit as Completed Activities. However, emails received prior to enabling the integration are not automatically captured.

For cases where email correspondence has taken place prior to enabling Inbound Email Sync, an Import Email option is available on People and Company Datasheets. This allows you to manually import messages from your connected email account within the past 90 days, helping ensure a more complete communication history.


To import previous email correspondence:

  • Navigate to the corresponding Person or Company Datasheet
  • Click to expand the record options menu in the top right corner of the page
  • Select Import Email


  • A slide out message in the bottom left corner will confirm that the import is in progress
    • You are welcome to leave the page at this time

  • You'll receive a new Notification when the import has finished
