Automations: Log Activity Action

This feature is only available on the Professional Tier

Log Activity is an available Action when creating an Automation. Selecting this option will automatically create and log a new Completed Activity when the associated Trigger is completed.

If you'd instead like to schedule a future activity, use the Schedule Activity Action.


Automating the Logging of an Activity Action

  • Choose the Activity Type you'd like to log from the Type drop-down menu

  • Use the Assignee field to set the Activity to be logged by either the user performing the trigger or a specific user every time
  • Enter both a Subject and Description for the Activity
    • You can use Mentions to notify other users about the completed Activity

  • Once the Automation is configured, it will be visible to and activated for all users in your agency
    • All users, regardless of permissions, will be able to log this Activity when they perform the associated Trigger.
