Automations: Log Activity Action
This feature is only available on the Professional Tier
"Log Activity" is an available Action when creating an
Automation. Selecting this option will automatically create and
log a new completed
Activity.
If you'd instead like to schedule a future activity, use the Schedule Activity Action.
Adding to a New Automation
- Open the Create New Automation window
- Select Log Activity from the Action drop-down menu
- Choose the Activity Type you'd like to log in from the Type drop-down menu
- Use the Assignee field to set the Activity to be logged by either the user performing the trigger or a specific user every time
- Enter both a Subject and Description for the Activity
- You can use Mentions to notify other users about the completed Activity
Once the Automation is configured, it will be visible to and activated for all users in your agency. All users, regardless of permissions, will be able to log this Activity when they perform the associated Trigger.
