Automations: Schedule Activity Action

This feature is only available on the Professional Tier

Schedule Activity is an available Action when creating an Automation. Selecting this option will automatically create and schedule a new future Activity when the associated Trigger is completed.

If you'd instead like to log a completed activity, use the Log Activity Action.


Automating the Scheduling of an Activity Action

  • Open the Create New Automation window
  • After selecting the appropriate Trigger, select Schedule Activity from the Action drop-down menu

  • Choose the Activity Type you'd like to log in the Type drop-down menu

  • Use the Assignee field to set the Activity to be scheduled for the user performing the trigger or a specific user every time
  • Select a Priority of High, Normal, or Low
  • Select the Day & Time you'd like to set for the Activity
    • Same Day is the default option, but you are able to schedule up to 7 days in the future
    • If the All Day checkbox is selected, you won't be able to specify a time frame

  • Click Add Notification if you'd like to create a notification for this Activity
    • You can set a notification for a specified number of Minutes, Hours, or Days before the scheduled Activity will occur
    • This option can be helpful for Activities that have a specific deadline or due date

  • Enter both a Subject and Description for the Activity
    • You can use Mentions to notify other users


  • Once the Automation is configured, it will be visible to and activated for all users in your agency
  • All users, regardless of permissions, will be able to schedule this Activity when they perform the associated Trigger
