Enrolling Records in a Sequence

This feature is only available on the Professional Tier

Once you've created a Sequence, you're ready to begin enrolling People or Company records. Enrollment kicks off the workflow and puts your Sequence in motion. Once enrolled, you can track progress and manage record enrollment at any time.

Replies Do Not Stop Future Steps

If a recipient replies to an email in the Sequence, future steps will continue to send. To prevent this, manually stop the record in the Sequence, or remove it entirely.

There are several different ways to enroll records into a Sequence:

  • From a list (search results, Hotlists, or Pipelines)
  • From a Person or Company Datasheet
  • Directly from the Sequence

To enroll records from a list:

  • Navigate to a list of search results, a Hotlist, or a Pipeline
  • Select the records you wish to enroll using the checkboxes to the left of each name
    • You can also choose to select the top box to select all records in your list

  • Click to expand the Action menu and select Enroll in a Sequence

  • Locate and select the appropriate Sequence you wish to enroll the records in
    • The list will default to My Sequences, which shows Sequences that belong to you specifically (Sequences where you are listed as the Owner)
    • Select Shared With Me if you wish to view a list of Sequences that have been shared across your agency
      • Note: Sequences are created with a type designation (Person or Company). Only Sequences that match the type of record you’re viewing will appear in the list.
  • Once you’ve selected the appropriate Sequence, click the Enroll button in the bottom right corner


To enroll records from a Datasheet:

  • Navigate to the Person or Company record you want to enroll
  • From the Datasheet tab, locate the Sequences card
  • Click the + icon in the upper-right corner of the card

  • Locate and select the appropriate Sequence you wish to enroll the records in
    • The list will default to My Sequences, which shows Sequences that belong to you specifically (Sequences where you are listed as the Owner)
    • Select Shared With Me if you wish to view a list of Sequences that have been shared across your agency
      • Note: Sequences are created with a type designation (Person or Company). Only Sequences that match the type of record you’re viewing will appear in the list.
  • Once you’ve selected the appropriate Sequence, click the Enroll button in the bottom right corner


To enroll records from the Sequence:

  • Expand the Sidebar in the top right corner of the software, and click on the Settings icon
  • Click to expand the Automation and Sequencing section, then select Sequencing
  • Select the Sequence you want to enroll records into
  • Click the Enroll People / Companies button in the upper-right corner of the table

  • Search for and select the record(s) you wish to enroll
  • Click the Enroll in the bottom right corner button when complete
