Automations: Send Email Action
This feature is only available on the Professional Tier
When creating an Automation, you'll have the ability to select Send Email as an available Action. Selecting this option will send a standard email when a specified Trigger is fired.

To add the Send Email Action to an Automation:
- Open the Create New Automation window
- Select Send Email from the Action dropdown
- Choose the Shared Email Template you want to be sent when the Trigger fires
- Only Templates that are shared with the agency will be selectable
- The To field will auto-populate based on the selected Trigger.
- Recipients for each Trigger type are listed below:
- Move to Pipeline Stage: the Candidate
- Disqualify from Pipeline Stage: the Candidate
- Move to Person Hotlist Category: the Person record
- Move to Company Hotlist Category: the Company record
- Move to Job Hotlist Category: the Job Contact(s)
- Note: emails are individually sent to each Job Contact listed
- The From field will auto-populate based on the Email Template selected.
- If the template's From Address is set to Unspecified, the section will auto-populate with User Performing Trigger
- If the template's From Address is set to a specific user, the section will auto-populate with that user's email address.
- Select when you would like this email to be sent. The default setting is Immediately
- You can elect to set a future date and time by clicking this dropdown and selecting Specify instead
- If the date in the future falls on a weekend, the email will instead be sent at the specified time on the following Monday
- You can elect to set a future date and time by clicking this dropdown and selecting Specify instead
- Once the Automation is configured, it will be visible to and activated for all users in your agency
- All users, regardless of permissions, will be able to send the associated email when they perform the associated Trigger.
- You can view and edit your future scheduled emails in the Automations Log.
Note: When a Send Email action is assigned to a Move To Pipeline Stage Trigger, moving candidates Pipeline Stage in mass will prompt individual emails to each of these candidates. These emails will count toward your email limit.
