Workflow Guides: Administrative Tasks
Welcome to our last in a series of Workflow Guides for Top Echelon Recruiting Software!
The subject of this guide will be Administrative Tasks. We’ll focus on several concepts:
- Managing users and customization
- Reporting
- Keeping records up to date
- Advertising positions and managing applications
Managing users and customization
- Other users’ accounts can be managed via the Settings in the Manage Users area
- By default, the Main Contact has access to this area, but access can be given to other users as well
- There are a large number of user permissions to choose from, and users can be allowed or restricted access for many areas of the software
- Top Echelon Recruiting Software has four customizable features:
Reporting
- Top Echelon Recruiting Software has three types of reports for keeping track of your team’s progress:
Keeping records up to date
- Records can be edited via the Edit pencil at the top of the screen, or through the Edit pencils within Cards
- Several features in Top Echelon Recruiting Software will automatically update duplicate records:
- Individual records can be deleted quickly and easily, and completed Contact Imports can be deleted easily as well if a mistake was made
- For individual records that were accidentally deleted, they can be restored through the Deleted Records page
- If duplicate Company or Person records are created, they can be merged through the Merge Company and Merge People functions
Advertising positions and managing applications
- Top Echelon Recruiting Software offers several services for advertising positions:
- Jobs can be advertised to our various services through the Advertise card on the job’s record, or from the Jobs Dashboard
- If the Post/Share links are not appearing for a particular service, hover over that service’s icon in the Advertise card to view the reason why
- Jobs can also be removed from these locations as well
- To search for all jobs advertised to a specific service, use the Advanced search
- To review applications for a job, and decide how to proceed with them:
- Applicants appear in the Inbox view of the Pipeline associated with the posted job (you’ll be notified of new applicants to your jobs as well)
- All applicants currently in the Inbox of an open Pipeline, as well as applicants that submit their resume via your Job Board, will appear in the Candidate Inbox view for easy access and decision making
